Kristen Anne Bell was born on July 18 in 1980. The actress is an American singer and actress. She began her acting career at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. There, she starred in stage productions. The musical comedy The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out the next year. In the following year, she was a part of the action-thriller Spartan (2004). She received praise for her performance as Becky Thatcher in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the following year, she appeared on Broadway in a revival of the Crucible. She reprised the character in the 2014 film as well as the new season in the year 2019. Bell was in the musical Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) as Mary Lane. This was a reprised role from her New York musical. Bell also starred in Heroes, a superhero-themed drama in which she played Elle Bishop, from 2007 through in 2008. She played the character of the title narrator in the drama for teenagers Gossip Girl, reprising the character in the sequel 2021. Bell also played the role of Jeannie van den Hooven, the lead female character from Showtime's comedy show House of Lies. Bell was a part of Eleanor Shellstrop in the NBC comedy series The Good Place. This part has earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award. Bell also played the role of Eleanor Shellstrop on the streaming series The Woman in the Home Across the Street From the Girl in the Window.
